Shropshire Luxury Goods Brand, Englana®, Create Huge Opportunity for Local Artist and Designer.

Englana® was born in Shropshire in the heart of England. The brand captures the natural elements of our environment whilst utilising exclusive yarns, fibres and raw materials. The wonderful materials that are used at Englana® are as natural as possible and are made using traditional British craftsmanship, which is both championed and celebrated.

 Englana Natural British Luxury

Englana® will be exhibiting their stunning collections at the Royal International Horse Show, Hickstead from 25th – 30th July in the Charles Owen sponsored shopping village. This year, founders Helen and Philip Gutteridge have decided to gift an up and coming artist and designer the most incredible opportunity to join them at Hickstead for the busiest shopping day of the show, Saturday 29th July. Helen has long been a champion of local designers and has admired the work of artist, Meg Hawkins for some time, first discovering her work at Dudmaston Hall.

 Meg Hawkins Artist

What has arisen out of Helen and Meg’s mutual respect and admiration for each other is a huge opportunity for Meg and her business, and a celebration of the synergy between the two brands. On Saturday 29th July, Meg will bring her incredible collections and her team into the Englana® stand and stage a British Designer Takeover for one day only.

The founders of Englana® believe that this gesture is a powerful way to reflect just how passionate they are about Britsih craftsmanship and championing home grown talent. They love the work of Meg Hawkins Artist and know that her products sit beautifully alongside their luxury brand.

It is wonderful to see these two Shropshire brands, both at very different stages of their business journeys, collaborating in such a generous and dynamic way. This gift from Englana® to Meg Hawkins is incredibly exciting not just for her but for Hickstead as well. Shoppers at the Royal International will be able to share in this wonderful story and experience two fabulous creative brands in one show week.

It would be great if all lovers of Shropshire goods attend the Royal International Horse Show. It’d be a great opportunity to see the ingenuity of the people behind the quality products.
